Key Objectives:

  • Uplift the event services and offerings, contribute new event ideas
  • Research markets to identify opportunities for additional general and corporate events
  • Lead on administrative aspects of corporate events e.g liaising with clients, vendors, facilities, suppliers, creating quotes & budgets and drawing up contracts
  • Liaise with client to understand their brief. Be the point of contact for all client communication and respond to client requests in a timely manner
  • Build, develop, and grow any new and retaining client relationships
  • Support the delivery of all the Dubai Schools Games events & Hamilton Aquatics events
  • Support the events division with other events and projects as and when Events Manager directs

You will be responsible in maximising revenue from all streams in the Facility Rental department and create new opportunities for growth, managing relationships of the Facility Rental department stakeholders within allocated venues to ensure all users are considered and valued and be accountable for the revenue generated in allocated venues by coordinating all users to maximise utilization.

Term: Part time (4 hours per day, 5 days per week)

Package: Starting in the region between QAR 6,250 including all allowances

Key Objectives:

  • Build and maintain excellent relationships with all key internal and external stakeholders within allocated venues
  • Create a cohesive ecosystem to achieve and exceed revenue targets set by senior management
  • Manage and business develop FR programs at all venues

The ideal candidate will be responsible for capturing high-quality sports photographs and enhancing them with graphic design elements for various media platforms. This role demands a keen eye for detail, an understanding of sports dynamics, and proficiency in graphic design software.

Responsibilities

Photography: 

  • Capture high-quality, action-packed photographs during sports events, including games, practices, promotional activities, and products.          
  • Use professional photography equipment to ensure the best image quality in various lighting conditions.          
  • Edit and retouch photographs to meet high standards of quality and consistency.

Graphic Design:

  • Create visually appealing graphics, posters, and digital content using photographs taken during events and help the graphic design team if needed.      
  • Design promotional materials, social media content, and website imagery incorporating sports photographs.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and Content teams to ensure cohesive visual branding.

Content Management:

  • Organize and manage a digital library of Pictures by dates and project so it’s easy for everyone to access,

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with coaches, and event organizers to capture the essence of the sport and sponsors.  
  • Coordinate with the content team to align photography and design efforts with the current company standards and policies.
  • Provide creative input and support for multimedia projects, including video production when needed.

Quality Control and Compliance:

  • Ensure all content complies with legal standards and internal child safeguarding policies regarding copyright and ethical guidelines.
  • Conduct regular reviews of produced content to ensure high standards are met and the content remains innovative and engaging.

 

Professional Development:

  • Stay updated on industry trends, especially in sports media, to ensure content remains relevant and impactful.
  • Attend workshops, trainings, and conferences to enhance professional skills and knowledge in photo production.

Desired qualifications:

  • Degree/Diploma in Photography, or a related field.

Desired experience:

  • 3+ Years of Experience working in sports or related industries.
  • Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, and Illustrator
  • Strong knowledge of photography techniques, including composition, lighting and camera settings, use of studio equipment, and studio lighting.
  • Passion for sports and understanding of various sports dynamics and culture.

Job-specific knowledge & skills:

  • Proven experience as a sports photographer with a strong portfolio showcasing action shots and event coverage.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced sports environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with team members.
  • Flexibility to travel and work irregular hours, including weekends and evenings, to cover sports events.
