Our Self-Defense Programme consists of 5 structured levels, with 12 sessions per level, designed to support students from Y1 through to Year 12. The programme focuses on building real-life abilities students may need if faced with a threatening situation. The core aim of self-defense is awareness, avoidance, escape, and correct response when necessary, rather than confrontation.
The curriculum includes a range of techniques and progressive movements, adapted appropriately for each age group. For children and teenagers, the focus is on developing the confidence and skills needed to respond safely, even when facing older or stronger individuals. Each session goes beyond play, teaching students how to protect themselves, stay calm under pressure, and make smart decisions that could save their lives. Training is delivered in a safe, structured, and age-appropriate.
