Marketing Admin Assistant

Key objectives:  The Marketing Assistant and Administrator is detail-orientated and process driven with a can-do attitude. The incumbent will play a crucial role in supporting the marketing team's initiatives, ensuring smooth administrative operations, and contributing to the overall success of our marketing campaigns.

Primary Responsibilities:
1. Maintain Annual Marketing Calendar:

  • Update and manage the annual marketing calendar, ensuring all planned activities are scheduled and flagging any potential delays or risks.

2.Budget and performance Tracking:

  • Keep the departmental budgeting sheet sheet up to date, providing accurate financial and performance data for marketing activities.

3.Project Progress Tracking:

  • Keep track of the execution of all long-term projects, reporting progress and ensuring alignment with project timelines and objectives. Be the custodian of all projects ensuring briefs are received and shared, project management tool is kept up to date and deadlines are adhered to.

4.Administrative Support:

  • Provide general administrative support to the marketing team, including managing schedules, coordinating meetings, and handling correspondence.

5.Enhanced Effectiveness of in-school Communication:

  • Improve coordination between the Relationship Management (RM) team and marketing, fostering a seamless workflow and effective communication between ESM and the supporting schools.
  • Monitor and track corporate and schools' communications, including social media platforms, ensuring consistency and adherence to marketing strategies.

6.Vendor Management:

  • Liaise with external vendors for marketing-related services, such as printing and promotional materials, ensuring cost-effectiveness and timely delivery.

Secondary Responsibilities:
1.Upselling Support:

  • Assist in upselling efforts to Group Companies and providers, collaborating with the sales and marketing teams to optimise revenue opportunities.

2.Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain detailed documentation of marketing activities, generate regular reports on campaign performance, and present findings to the marketing team and relevant stakeholders.
  • File all department related paperwork in a secured online environment.

3.Event Coordination:

  • Support the planning and coordination of marketing events, ensuring logistical details are handled efficiently and events align with marketing objectives.

Set of required skills, knowledge and behaviours: 

  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Proven experience in administrative roles, preferably in a marketing or sales environment.
  • Proven experience with marketing and project coordination.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to challenges.
  • A positive attitude with the willingness to learn.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is a plus.
